The global effects of Saturn and Pluto are set to become more intense. The constellation of Capricorn is ruled by Saturn so all the traits of Saturn will be lit up for attention. We are talking about global structures being affected. Just as there are personal structures we rely on and align our lives to, we are all affected by global structures created generally for political and economic purposes. To name a few we have tax structures, trade structures, legal structures, border control and immigration structures, medical structures, religious structures, cultural structures. These will all be in sight for scrutiny as to their effective value now and into the future.
Saturn’s transit through Capricorn began in January 2020 and will end by January 2023. Pluto’s transit through Capricorn begins 25th February 2020 and will remain in this constellation of structures for approximately 18 years. That’s a long time to make changes to systems and structures. This is no small journey and I want to draw your attention to the cyclical nature of planetary forces. Pluto takes 248 years to revolve around the zodiac. Historically Pluto was in Capricorn during the Age of Enlightenment, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Crusades. Accordingly, this is not a period to ignore or take lightly.
Refer to the Uranus articles where the effects of Uranus in Aries increases the volatility in favor of rebellions as we have seen in Hong Kong e.g. Major changes are often brought about because of uprisings where masses of people either awaken to injustices and request change or are in situations of great oppression and rise up to change their circumstances. Sadly as history shows, there is usually a lot of blood spilled to achieve change.
In 2016 Uranus squared Pluto, this is a major force for awakening. This was also the precursor to Uranus beginning its journey through Aries, ruled by Mars. This transit of Uranus in Aries began in 2016 also. The Uranus-Mars forces signify rebellion and revolution. It’s not a force for being obedient and staying quiet if there are mass injustices occurring. As a species, we haven’t yet worked out how to have a peaceful revolution, as proven historically cycle after cycle. Uranus comes out of Aries in January 2025.
Understanding the planetary forces we are currently being influenced by, you may be able to follow more easily the global political and economic events playing out. Uranus is shaking us up to be acutely aware of our loss of freedoms and the price we pay for existing, and Pluto with the help of Saturn is going to ensure we learn and transform the current structures, hopefully for the benefit of all.
